Paulo Alexandre Almeida

Chief Executive Officer of Breitener - Brazil

Executive manager with more than 20 years of experience in energy assets with emphasis on project management, maintenance and operation. Mr. Almeida is responsible for the management of activities related to the operation, maintenance, engineering and administration of power plants located in Manaus, Amazonas – Brazil with more than 300 MW of installed natural gas engines. He participated effectively in the change on the North energy matrix from oil to natural gas and also in their interconnection to the National Electric System. Previously, Mr. Almeida worked for El Paso Energy managing different technologies such as Wartsila Engines, GE LM6000, GE Frame and P&W twin pack Turbines.

Mr. Almeida is an electrical engineer and graduated from the State University of Rio de Janeiro – UERJ and holds a Master of Science in Business Management from the University Institute of Lisbon – ICSTE.
