Ceiba Energy is named after the Ceiba tree, a tropical tree native to North and South America and Africa. The tree has a thick trunk with a high canopy that can grow up to 70 meters (230 feet) in height. In Central America, the Ceiba tree had great symbolic importance to the ancient Maya, and its name in the Mayan language, Yax Che, means “Green Tree” or “First Tree”. It was the most sacred tree for the ancient Maya and was the symbol of the universe. The tree signified a route of communication between the three levels of the earth. Source: ThoughtCo.
